From Shop Floor to SEMA Success

December 6, 2024

LD Warning

The future of automotive repair was on full display at SEMA 2024, and we're humbled to announce that Revv took home the New Product Award winning first place for Revv ADAS Plus and runner-up for Revv ADAS Mechanical. This recognition means everything to us. It validates not just our technology, but the fundamentally different approach we've taken since we first started Revv.

Starting with the Technician

Our journey started on shop floors across the country, where we spent months shadowing ADAS technicians as they performed calibrations. (A special thank you to the first technicians who trusted us enough to let us set up camp in their shops!). We spent hours learning how the most skilled professionals approached ADAS repairs, talking to them about all the frustrating parts of their workflow, and most importantly asking them how technology could enhance, rather than replace, their expertise.

The breakthroughs we left with were unexpected. First, ADAS repair is an art form learnt over time. Second, the industry didnt need access to more data or more fancy tools. What it needed was a way to capture and share how the best technicians interpreted how to do the right ADAS calibrations from the data already available to them - and this kind of expertise took years to develop. This insight became the cornerstone of the product we set out to build.

Revv ADAS Plus

When we built Revv ADAS, we knew we didnt want to create just another diagnostic platform. We wanted to translate thousands of hours of real-world expertise into a system that thinks the way master technicians think.

As a result, Revv ADAS represents a fundamental shift in how repair shops handle ADAS calibrations. By combining AI-powered diagnostics with real-world repair expertise, we've created a platform that doesn't just identify calibration needs it helps shops understand them. The system seamlessly integrates with major estimating platforms like CCC, Mitchell, and Audatex, automatically identifying required ADAS procedures and translating them into actionable repair plans.

The results speak for themselves: shops using our platform are capturing an average of $1,250 in additional revenue per job. But what makes us proudest are the stories behind those numbers. Like the independent shop owner who was able to hire 3 technicians to help him expand. Or the shops calling us to tell us their teams are now completing calibrations with greater confidence and accuracy than ever before.

Winning SEMAs 2025 New Product Award validates what these customers have helped us build. And, as the cherry on top, being named runner-up for Revv ADAS Mechanical proves our vision of democratizing expertise is resonating across the industry.

Whether youre an independent family-owned shop thats served your community for generations, or a big MSO adapting to industry changes, we believe every shop should be equipped with the expertise needed to succeed in this new era of ADAS repair. Which is exactly why we've built Revv ADAS to be scalable and adaptable.

Continuing with Our Vision

While this SEMA recognition centers on our ADAS solutions, our vision extends much further. We're building a comprehensive 360-degree repair platform that will help shops navigate the increasing complexity of modern vehicles. As cars continue to become more intricate, we're committed to ensuring that repair shops evolve alongside them not through more tools and data, but through better understanding and expertise.

The future of automotive repair is being written right now, and with partners like you, we're ensuring it's a future where every shop has the capability to perform safe, accurate, and profitable repairs. Thank you for being part of this journey.
